Easthaven is a very well equipped four apartment family house sleeping up to 5 in two bedrooms with the option for 2 more on a double divan, although with an overall limit of 6 guests. It has a large child-safe south facing rear garden with magnificent views across the Firth of Forth towards the Bass Rock and North Berwick. It is 4 star rated by VisitScotland and has been awarded Tripadvisor Certificates of Excellence/Traveller's Choice Award. Our guests regularly comment that it is the best equipped holiday house they have stayed in. It has a long family history back to the 1950's and we like it to feel like a home from home with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. We have guests who are so comfortable at Easthaven, they come back again and again.
Come and explore the unique character and beautiful scenery of the East Neuk of Fife, while enjoying the comfort of this well equipped holiday home, recognised for it's historic character as a Category B Listed Building. Easthaven is located at the top of the quiet and historic village high street in Pittenweem beside the tolbooth tower built in 1588, and at the top of the wynd (path) leading directly down past the historic St Fillan's cave to the picturesque harbour bordered by traditional whitewashed, pantiled and crow-stepped gable houses, with the added life and interest of the working fishing boats. Pittenweem is the remaining working fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife.
With restaurants, an artisan bakery, a convenience store/chemist /Post Office, coffee shops, chocolatier, galleries, craft and antique shops along the High Street and in Pittenweem, picking up provisions and gifts could not be easier. There are a variety of restaurants in Pittenweem and the East Neuk area generally for a range of occasions from holiday meals out to special occasions and of course the area is famed for its many wonderful fish and chip shops. The historic university and golfing town of St Andrews is only a 20 minute drive away and offers good shopping, eating and entertainment possibilities. With a comparatively dry climate, coastal walks, beaches, heritage sites and numerous links golf course, the area has much to offer the visitor.
"Simply Wonderful! Easthaven is a wonderful property with everything a family needs for a super holiday! Clean, warm and bright with a real family feel, it had the best kitchen we’ve ever been to (we can’t think of a utensil that wasn’t supplied!) with a fantastic garden and views and brilliant walks from the door. The beds were super comfy too, something that you never really know until you arrive! The harbour was our favourite place watching all the fishermen and wildlife. Arts and crafts abound in the area and the Pittenweem hub is so handy for forgotten items just down the road! The Dory bistro and gallery on the harbour was wonderful too serving the catch is the day! A truly magical place with lots to see and do!"

Perfect as always! No better place to stay after the last 4 surreal months of lockdown. Greatly appreciated the efforts Senga and Ian had made to make our stay safe and welcoming. The house was spotlessly clean and as well equipped as our own home. We have stayed at the house several times before but this was our first visit since the renovations, which have been done without the house losing any of it’s character or charm. Happy to introduce our 3 year old granddaughter to Easthaven for the first time ( the 3rd generation of the family to holiday here.) She had a great time, the garden is a perfect play area and she loved the toys she found in the shed. We cannot recommend the house enough and the owners take such a personal interest in their guests - it feels like going to see family, not visiting a business. Almost reluctant to share such a glowing review - we want to keep it to ourselves!"
